§ 02 — Become Producer
As a manufacturer you work in industry to operate machinery and be part of manufacturing everything from food to industrial goods. You are an important part of the team that keeps production going and you learn to work with machines materials and quality. It is a practical apprenticeship where you quickly start to contribute in a real workplace.
§What do you do in everyday life?
A typical day involves operating and monitoring machines filling materials, keeping an eye on that everything runs as it should and checking that products have the right quality. You clean prepare and help out where needed and are part of maintaining production pace.

§How do you get started?
You start with a basic course at a vocational school and then find an apprenticeship in a production company. You get apprentice wages throughout the course and alternate between school and practice. The education is practice-oriented so you quickly learn to contribute to real production.
§The way forward
As a fully trained manufacturer you can work broadly in industrial and food production. With experience you can get more responsibility be trained in more machines or build further on your education towards for example process operator and specialise further.
