Accessibility statement
Here is how accessible Discebo has been measured to be, what is not in order, and how you can let us know. The figures come from a measurement, not an estimate, and they are updated every time we measure again.
Compliance status: partially compliant
Discebo is PARTIALLY compliant with the requirements of the European standard EN 301 549 (which corresponds to WCAG 2.1 level AA). «Partially» means there are known deviations — they are named further down.
⚠️ We are a supplier, not a public body. The Danish Web Accessibility Act obliges public bodies, for example the vocational college that uses the platform — not us. We nevertheless publish this statement to the template of the Danish Agency for Digital Government, so the school can use it in its own. Claiming that the law binds us would be a stretch in our favour.
Content that is not accessible
Measured 2026-09-23 on 34 routes in both normal mode and dyslexia mode. The points below are deviations from the requirements — not something we have assessed as a disproportionate burden, and not something that falls outside the requirements.
That is 6 % of the site's 600 route types. The sample is chosen across the zones, and the shared parts — top bar, navigation, footer, cards, buttons and form fields — are the same components on the rest of the pages. A deviation in one place is therefore rarely in one place only, and a fix in one place has an equally broad effect.
1.4.3 Kontrast (minimum) (level AA)
Nogle tekster står med for lav kontrast mod deres baggrund. Det er især dæmpet hjælpetekst og små etiketter på fagenes forsider. Teksten kan læses af en skærmlæser, men er svær at læse for en seende bruger med nedsat syn eller på en skærm i dagslys.

We fix them on an ongoing basis. Contrast is the biggest point, and it is being tightened token by token, so a fix applies to the whole site and not just the page where it was found.
What a machine cannot decide
An automated test finds around a third of the errors WCAG describes. It can see that an alternative text exists — not whether it describes the right thing. Without this section, a low number above would be read as a clean bill of health.

Undervisningsvideoerne har tekstspor. Sporene er maskinskrevne og bliver gennemgået; indtil den gennemgang er færdig, kan vi ikke stå inde for, at hvert ord er korrekt. Promofilmen på forsiden har ingen tale og derfor intet at tekste — det står i afspilleren.
Om siden kan bruges med tastatur alene, overalt
Hovedflowene er gennemgået og rettet (bogen, godkendelseskøen, kalenderen). De øvrige flader er ikke gennemgået systematisk.
What is in place
- En læsetilstand for ordblinde, der skifter til Atkinson Hyperlegible, øger afstanden og slår kursiv og versaler fra. Tilstanden måles på lige fod med den almindelige: sidste måling gav færre fejl i ordblinde-tilstanden end i den normale.
- Brugeren kan selv vælge tekststørrelse og sidebredde, og valget huskes.
- Alle flader har en synlig fokus-markering ved tastaturnavigation.
- Trykflader er mindst 44 × 44 px — også dér, hvor selve knappen er mindre.
- Sproget er sat på dokumentet og skifter med brugerens valg, så en skærmlæser udtaler teksten rigtigt.
How the statement was prepared
The statement was prepared by a self-assessment: an automated measurement with axe-core (wcag2a, wcag2aa, wcag21a, wcag21aa) on 68 page views, supplemented by manual walkthroughs of the main flows with keyboard and screen reader.
The measurement was last run 2026-09-23. The statement is updated automatically with the figures every time the measurement is run again.
The measurement runs against a production build of the same version that is live — not against the running site. It is the same code and the same pages; the difference is that the measurement can be repeated and verified.

We reply as quickly as we can. If you don't get a reply, or you are not satisfied with it, you can — as a user of a public authority's solution — complain to the authority itself. It is the authority that is responsible under the Web Accessibility Act, and it can take the matter on to the Danish Agency for Digital Government.
