These terms apply when you as a private person or business take out a paid subscription to Discebo. By completing a purchase you accept these terms.

A subscription provides access to Discebo's professional tools: calculators, templates, articles, quizzes, tests and AI assistant across the subjects your subscription covers. Access is personal (or seat-based for companies) and delivered digitally as soon as payment is completed. The professional content is advisory and does not replace engineering, applicable standards or the assessment of an authorised professional.

• Monthly subscription: 79 kr per month incl. VAT.
• Annual subscription: 790 kr per year incl. VAT (prepaid).
• Company subscription: 49 kr per employee per month excl. VAT (seat-based).

Payment is handled by our payment provider Stripe. We do not store your complete card information. Prices may change with reasonable notice a price change does not affect an ongoing prepaid period.

Your subscription runs until it is cancelled and renews automatically at the end of each period (monthly or annually) at the then-applicable rate. You can cancel your subscription at any time in your settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for, and you retain access for the remainder of that period. There is no commitment period beyond the paid period. A prepaid annual period is generally not refunded upon cancellation mid-period, subject to the right to withdraw below.

As a consumer you generally have 14 days' right of withdrawal from the date of the agreement. Since the subscription is a digital service you have immediate access to we ask you at purchase to give explicit consent to the delivery starting immediately and to acknowledge that the right of withdrawal expires when delivery has started. If you do not give this consent you retain your full 14-day right of withdrawal.

If you want to exercise your right of withdrawal, contact us at the above email address within the deadline. Companies (commercial purchases) have no right of withdrawal.

After purchase you receive a receipt from Stripe as well as a confirmation of the agreement with these terms. Save the confirmation as documentation of your agreement.

The content and business data that you or your company put into Discebo — customers, quotes, invoices, vouchers, hours, projects and files — belong to you or your company respectively. We process them to deliver the service and for nothing else: we do not sell them, and we do not share them with other customers. If you work in a company on Discebo, it is the company that owns the company's business data, and they are therefore not deleted because you delete your personal account.

You can export your data for as long as the subscription runs. In your settings you can download a complete copy of your personal data as JSON. For a company, sales vouchers and approved expenses can be downloaded as a bookkeeping file (CSV), payroll and projects as CSV, and each invoice as PDF and as an e-invoice in UBL/XML format. If you need material those exports do not cover, we will provide it on request in a commonly used, readable format.

You keep access to your data for the whole period you have paid for. After the period expires, we keep your and your company's data for at least 90 days so you have time to export it — we do not delete it on our own during that time. After the 90 days we may delete it without further notice. If you want it deleted sooner, you can ask us to, and you can delete your own account in the settings at any time. We do not, however, delete material that the law requires us to keep — see the section below.

The invoices we issue to you for the subscription are our own accounting records. We keep them for 5 years from the end of the financial year they relate to, cf. section 12(1) of the Danish Bookkeeping Act. Likewise, we keep the quotes, invoices, credit notes and vouchers in the system that document your company's own transactions: they are not deleted because an employee deletes their account — it is the company that decides over them.

Please note that Discebo is not a digital bookkeeping system under the Danish Bookkeeping Act and is not registered with the Danish Business Authority. The bookkeeping file is made to be imported into a journal in your own bookkeeping system. The duty to keep digital books and to store your records and vouchers in your own bookkeeping system is yours — not ours — and a voucher you have stored with us does not in itself fulfil that duty.

We do not promise a particular backup frequency, nor a particular restore time. So do not use Discebo as your only copy of anything you cannot do without: export your data regularly, and make sure your vouchers and records are also in your own bookkeeping system.

Discebo is a learning and support tool. All professional content — calculators, templates, figures and guidance — is for guidance only. It is your own responsibility to check results against applicable standards, legislation, manufacturer instructions and the specific circumstances, and to involve an authorised professional where required. We are not liable for losses resulting from decisions made solely on the basis of the platform's guidance output.

If you are dissatisfied, please contact us first at the above email so we can find a solution. If this does not lead to agreement, you can as a consumer complain to the Centre for Complaint Resolution, House of Councils, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg (naevneneshus.dk). Complaints about our handling of your personal data should be directed to Danish Data Protection Authority.
