Work in forest and nature is physical and often involves powerful machinery and heavy materials. Safety is therefore non-negotiable — it can be the difference between a good day and a serious accident.

Machine safety
Machines require respect. Learn the operation thoroughly, use the safety devices, and never work with a machine you have not been trained on. Fatigue and stress increase the risk of error.
First aid in the field
When you work far from help basic first aid is important. You should know how to stop bleeding call for help and remain calm in an emergency.
Consideration for the environment
Quality in the trade also means taking care of nature. You must consider soil, watercourses, wildlife and protected areas so your work does not harm what you are set to care for.
