Dolly (bucking bar)Used as an 'anvil' behind the panel so the hammer blow shapes the metal instead of just moving it. Available in several shapes for different curves and edges.
Slide hammer / dent puller kitFor pulling dents out from the outside where you cannot reach the back of the panel. Often used with welded-on pull rings or pins.
Welding and joining
Spot welder / stud welder (dent repair kit)For dent pulling on closed surfaces (doors, wings) where the back is inaccessible. Central to modern panel repair without disassembly.
MIG/MAG welder for car repairFor welding and brazing new panel and body parts in steel and high-strength steel. MIG brazing preserves the material's properties when repairing newer cars.
Spot welder (resistance welder)For fitting new panels using the factory method, e.g. when replacing wings and door skins. Gives a strong joint without filler material.
Riveting tool (punch rivets / blind rivets)For joining sheet and aluminium parts where welding is unsuitable. Self-piercing riveting is a standard method on many modern aluminium bodies.
Plastic welder / plastic repair kitFor repairing cracked and broken plastic parts such as bumpers instead of replacing them — part of smart repair.
Shielding gas (Ar/CO₂ mix) in a cylinderProtects the weld pool against oxygen and nitrogen in the air during welding and MIG brazing. Gas type and flow are chosen from the data sheet of the welding equipment and filler material.
Skæring, slibning og overflade
Angle grinderFor cutting out damaged panels, grinding down weld seams and cleaning surfaces of rust and paint before repair.
Random orbital sander (disc sander)For sanding filler and paint evenly and removing scratches before preparation for painting. Gives a flat surface without sanding marks.
Sheet-metal shears / nibblerFor cutting new repair panels and trimming damaged metal away in the right shape.
Spreaders and application toolsFor filling and smoothing small irregularities after straightening, so the surface is completely flat before sanding and painting.
Protective equipment (welding mask, respiratory protection, gloves)To protect eyes, lungs and skin from welding light, grinding dust, fumes and heat in everyday workshop work — legally required safety equipment.
Opretning og opmåling
Straightening bench with measuring systemFor straightening a collision-damaged body back to factory dimensions. The measuring system documents that the chassis is once again within tolerance.
Edge folder and slip rollFor making sheet and repair pieces from scratch that follow the body's shapes when a ready-made spare part is not available.

Polyester filler (2K)For filling and building up minor irregularities after straightening, before sanding and priming. Mixing ratio and pot life follow the product data sheet.
IR drying lamp (infrared dryer)For fast drying of filler, primer and spot repairs on single panels without using the booth's full drying cycle. Distance and time are set according to the lamp's and paint product's data sheets.
Rustbeskyttelse
Cavity wax and underbody protectionFor restoring corrosion protection after welding and panel replacement — new joints and cavities must be sealed so the repair doesn't rust from the inside.
