The photography industry today — where are the jobs?

The photography trade is one of the trades that has changed the most in recent decades. When everyone suddenly got a camera in their pocket some thought the trade would disappear. The opposite has happened: the need for professional thoughtful images has only grown because everything — from web shops to social media — needs to be filled with good visual content.

The photography trade is characterized by many being self-employed or working as freelancers. This gives freedom but also a responsibility to find customers draw up budgets and run a business.
