Forest and nature educations at Copenhagen University

The Forest School is an institute under the Faculty of Science and Nature at Copenhagen University and trains professionals within forest, nature and outdoor life. Teaching takes place as much outside as inside, with great emphasis on practical learning. The department in Nødebo is located between Gribskov and Esrum Lake, eight kilometers from Hillerød.

§What can you read here?

The Forest School offers vocational education in forest and nature technician as well as higher education and further education in forest and nature management. The school trains, among other things, administrators, managers, facilitators, guides and craftspeople.

§Practical about school

The Forest School has two departments: Nødebo in North Zealand (Nødebovej 77A, 3480 Fredensborg) and Djursland in Jutland (Eldrupvej 2, 8963 Auning). Forest and nature technician is an alternating education with school training from Nødebo and training in a company.
