Unlock Reduced weekly rest — what should I get in return?
Compensation and deadline after 561/2006
A regular weekly rest is at least 45 hours, a reduced one at least 24 (EU 561/2006 art. 4, para h). What you lack up to 45 hours must be taken in one go by the end of the third week after (art. 8, section 6), following a rest period of at least 9 hours (section 7). The deadline is counted in ISO weeks, also over New Year.
