- 01Place the animal in a quiet, soft, and monitored bed.
- 02Keep the animal warm — anesthesia lowers body temperature.
- 03Ensure free and unobstructed breathing.
- 04Do not leave the animal unattended before it's stable.

- 01Follow breathing, circulation, and consciousness level at regular intervals.
- 02Assess pain and provide pain relief according to prescription.
- 03Check the operation site for bleeding or swelling.
- 04Note observations and given medication in the journal.
§When the animal wakes up
- 01Offer water and food when the animal is ready per instructions.
- 02Make sure that the animal doesn't lick or bite the surgical site.
- 03Assess whether the animal is stable enough for discharge.
- 04Prepare guidance and medicine for the owner.
