Control form: Tool final check and approval
Documentation of measurement control, before the tool is released to production
Before a new or repaired tool is put into production, it must undergo final inspection documenting that it meets the drawing's requirements. Use the form to collect measurements and approvals in one place so it can later be traced who inspected what.
§What must be checked?
- 01Critical dimensions and fits according to drawing
- 02Surface quality on functional surfaces (cavities form surfaces cut edges)
- 03Function of moving parts: ejectors, sliders, plungers
- 04Hardness and any surface coating if specified
