Quality control is the last filter before casings are sent on. Use this checklist.
§Purity
- 01Are the guts completely clean?
- 02Are any residues that need to be cleaned away?
- 03Do they meet the requirements for food use?
§Sorting and suitability
- 01Are the guts sorted correctly by size?
- 02Do they fit the purpose they are to be used for?
- 03Has material that doesn't meet specification been discarded?
§Packing and documentation
- 01Have conservation and packing been carried out correctly?
- 02Is the product covered by the type approval (initial type test) that covers the specific construction and glass type?
- 03Is it clear what is approved for further use?
