Before the patient sits in the chair
§Surfaces and hygiene
- 01Disinfect work surfaces and unit.
- 02Cover contact points (lamp handles, switches, hoses).
- 03Check that suction and water/air work.
§Instruments and materials

- 02Check that packages are complete and indicator shows sterile.
- 03Prepare single-use items and materials for the planned treatment.
§Protective equipment and patient
- 01Get gloves, mask, and glasses/visor ready.
- 02Perform hand hygiene.
- 03Receive the patient, adjust the chair and place the bib.
