Move preparation to before the machine stops
§Before the machine stops (external preparation)
- 01Next order's tools, templates and materials are fetched and checked
- 02Work instruction and drawing for the new order have been read through
- 03Necessary measuring instruments for the new setup are in place and calibrated.
§During the actual changeover (internal time).
- 01Old tool/setup is dismantled according to procedure
- 02New tool is mounted and clamped correctly
- 03The machine can always be redone. The finger cannot. Prioritise accordingly.
§After resetting (startup check)
- 01A trial/first-item check is run before serial production starts
- 02First piece is approved by you or the quality responsible before continuing
- 03The transition time is noted so it can be tracked over time
