Checklist: are you ready to apply?
Go through the list before you start the line. Ten minutes of care at startup can save an entire production from becoming waste.
Before you apply for pedagogical assistant, it is wise to get an overview of whether you meet the requirements and what you are missing. Use this checklist as a quick self-test.
§The professional
- 01Have I passed Danish and mathematics with at least 02 average from primary school's final exam?
- 02If not: do I know the possibility of admission test and interview?
- 03Do I know whether I should start at basic course 1 or can go directly to basic course 2?
- 04Am I over 25 and maybe should go on an adult course (euv)?
§The practical
- 01Have I found a school that offers the education in my part of the country?
- 02Do I know the application deadlines and when the teams start?
- 03Have I considered where I want to intern — daycare, school or residential facility?
- 04Am I prepared for the fact that I must have a police clearance certificate before I can start in apprenticeship?
If you can tick off most of it, you are on the right track. If there are gaps, call a school — they will happily help you find the right way in.
