Testing determines whether the device will ultimately be used or left in a drawer.

  • 01Let the user put on the aid (or help as needed).
  • 02Ask where it may pressure, chafe, or feel wrong.
  • 03Look at fit and function: does the user stand walk or move better?
  • 04Check for hard edges and pressure points, especially where skin is vulnerable.
  • 05Adjust, grind and polish as needed – and try again.
  • 06Confirm that the user is comfortable using it themselves.
