Most work injuries do not occur from major accidents but from small, daily shortcuts that become habits. Use this fixed routine to make safety a reflex.

§Before you start

  • 01Check that ventilation works before turning on machines
  • 02Find the right protective equipment: respirator, goggles, gloves.
  • 03PLACEHOLDER_30
  • 04Set the working height so you stand or sit well.

§While you work

  • 01Keep extraction close to the source when you grind.
  • 02Take micro-breaks during monotonous, precise tasks.
  • 03Use lifting aids instead of pure muscle power.
  • 04Stop if you smell solvents clearly — then the protection is not good enough.

§When you are done.

  • 01Clean up and close chemicals properly.
  • 02Clean and dry hands - avoid getting glue and resin into your skin.
  • 03Report machine and exhaust errors immediately.
  • 04Note if you have experienced discomfort – it helps catch problems early.

§The long track

Allergy to glue and resin and strain on back and wrist build up over years. The one who takes care of themselves every day is still in the trade when the colleague who took shortcuts has had to stop.
