Checklist for service and oil change
Standard points in a routine service inspection
Use this checklist as the backbone of a service inspection. Always follow the manufacturer's service schedule and specific fluid and torque specifications for the individual car.

- 01Drain engine oil at operating temperature and replace the oil filter.
- 02Fill the correct amount and type of oil according to the manufacturer.
- 03Check and refill other fluids: coolant, brake, windshield and any power steering fluid.
- 04Change filters according to schedule: air filter, cabin filter, and fuel filter.
- 05Check tires for wear and damage and adjust tire pressure to manufacturer's specification.
- 06Check brakes, pads, and hoses for wear and leakage.
