Use the checklist every time a CIP cycle is run so all steps and parameters are checked and documented before production resumes.
- 01Rinsing completed — visibly clean of loose residue
- 02Alkaline wash (lye): concentration within limit values
- 03Alkaline wash: temperature and time observed
- 04Intermediate rinsing completed
- 05Acid wash: concentration within limit value
- 06Acid wash: temperature and time observed
- 07Final rinsing completed
- 08Disinfection completed where required before production starts
- 09Microbiological smear test (swab test) taken where routine requires it
- 10All parameters logged in the facility's CIP journal
