Checklist: CE documentation for windows and doors
Control points before a window or door leaves the workshop
Use this checklist as a final check of the documentation when a window or external door has been finished production and is ready for delivery.
§CE marking (DS/EN 14351-1)
- 01Is the product the right one and mixed according to instructions?
- 02Has the factory's quality control system (self-monitoring) been followed for this production?
- 03Is the performance declaration (DoP) filled in with the declared properties (energy, air tightness, water tightness)?
- 04Is the CE mark visibly applied to the finished product?
§Energy requirements (BR18)

| Energiklasse/Eref | Whether the window meets the agreed energy class for the task |
| U-value | Whether the declared U-value matches the one used in the heat loss calculation |
| Glass type | Whether the installed glass matches the type that forms the basis for the declared values |

- 01Are the dimensions and squareness checked against the drawing?
- 02Is the joint a tuck, T-, corner or lap joint?
- 03Has the surface treatment been carried out and cured before delivery?
