Safe and correct preparation before spraying
Follow the steps in order every time you prepare the sprayer. Correct preparation protects you, the crop, and the environment, and ensures the product works as intended.
§1. Preparation
- 01Check that you have a valid spray certificate and know the conditions.

- 03Put on correct personal protective equipment (gloves, protective suit, etc. according to the label).
§2. Inspection of sprayer
- 01Check hoses, nozzles and filters for wear and leaks.
- 02Make sure the gauge and cut-off valves work.
- 03Check that the sprayer is inspected/controlled according to current requirements.
§3. Mixing and filling
- 01Fill and mix according to the label in the specified order.
- 02Use a refuelling station with collection and avoid spillage into drains and waterways.
- 03Mix only the amount that will be used to avoid excess liquid.
§4. During and after spraying
- 01Observe distance requirements to watercourses, lakes and neighbouring fields.
- 02Be aware of wind and drift.
- 03Clean the sprayer after use and handle residues and packaging responsibly.
