A fixed procedure following the IPM principle — from need to documentation
Use this procedure every time you consider a plant protection measure. It ensures that you treat based on a real need, choose the most appropriate gentle measure, work legally and safely, and can document it afterwards. Follow the steps in order.

§1.-2. Needs and decision

- 02Consider preventive and mechanical alternatives before deciding to spray.
- 03Spray only if the attack really threatens yield or quality (damage threshold).
§3.-4. Agent selection and preparation
- 01Choose an approved agent for this specific crop and pest, and read the label carefully.
- 02Check that your authorization is valid before you buy and use the agent.
- 03Put on the protective equipment the label requires — be especially careful when mixing.
- 04Check sprayer: nozzles, filters, hoses and gauge, and use an approved filling station.
§5.-6. Serving and documentation
- 01Dose according to the label at the lowest effective dose and avoid overlap.
- 02Observe distance requirements to watercourses and lakes, and do not spray in drift-bearing wind or before rain.
- 03Clean the sprayer at the washing area and handle residues and packaging responsibly.
- 04Before the spray log: crop, field, product, dose, date, and purpose.
