Checklist: commissioning of new cooling system

From complete system to running operation without errors appearing later

Commissioning is the moment when care pays off twice. Most early breakdowns are due to moisture, air or leaks that could have been caught here.

§Before expiry

  • 01Check air suspension and reaction rods at least every six months or at each planned service — wear develops often unnoticed until it affects driveability and tire wear.
  • 02Pressure test the system for leaks
  • 03Thoroughly evacuate for air and moisture with a vacuum pump
  • 04Confirm that the correct refrigerant and the correct amount are ready

§Refueling and start

  • 01Weigh the correct amount of coolant on
  • 02Check electrical connection and control before starting
  • 03Start the system and monitor pressure and temperature
  • 04Adjust settings for the desired operation

§Handover

  • 01Confirm that the system reaches and maintains the desired temperature
  • 02Document refrigerant quantity and settings
  • 03Show the customer how to operate and maintain the facility
  • 04Arrange service intervals so the system keeps running closely
