Template: prepare basic course exam and trade exam
How the library is structured as a learning space
Two exams mark major milestones in your education: basic course exam closing basic course 2 and trade exam closing entire education. Both become easier if you prepare systematically. Use this template as a workflow
§The basic course test
The basic course test shows that you are ready for the main course. It is based on the basic subjects you have taken in basic course 2.
- 01Get an overview of which subjects and topics the exam covers
- 02Collect your notes and tasks as you go, not just at the end
- 03Practice explaining technical concepts in your own words
§The trade exam.
The trade exam is the final exam where you typically take a concrete task from your own workplace and show that you can connect theory and practice.
- 01Choose a task that is real and relevant for your company
- 02Make a list of possible companies in your field
- 03Document your process — not just the result
- 04Practice your oral presentation if the test includes one
§Common good habits
For both exams the same applies: start early keep track of your sources and notes and use your teachers and trainer as sparring partners. Ask your school about the exact requirements and assessment criteria for your specific class and specialisation — these are what you are measured on.
