Wage on commission per the agreement

What do I earn in week when on commission?

Answer: A hairdresser on commission gets a fixed minimum commission wage per hour plus commission on their own turnover above a deduction of 1.5 times the minimum wage per working hour. Turnover is calculated without VAT. If the result is lower than the guaranteed wage, the guaranteed wage is paid. The calculator calculates one week according to the collective agreement's model with the rates you enter. The standard values are the rates from the collective agreement of 1 March 2023 (guaranteed wage from 1 March 2024), so check the current rates with DOFK or Dansk Frisør & Kosmetiker Forbund.

Formula

Omsætning ekskl. moms = omsætning inkl. moms ÷ 1,25

Fradrag = 1½ × provisionsminimalløn × arbejdstimer (overenskomstens bilag 1: 197,23 kr pr. time ved 131,49 kr)

Provisionsløn = minimalløn × timer + provisionssats × (omsætning ekskl. moms − fradrag), hvis omsætningen er over fradraget

Ugeløn = den største af provisionslønnen og garantiløn × timer (§ 16, stk. 1)

Does not apply when

  • Calculates only the agreement's basic model for one pay week. Supplements holiday payment pension holiday and local deals about higher commission are not included. The agreement renews so check current rates.

Er du ansat på provision efter frisørfagets overenskomst, afhænger ugelønnen af din omsætning. Beregneren viser, hvornår provisionen begynder, og hvor meget du skal omsætte for at tjene mere end garantilønnen. Brug den til at forstå din lønseddel og til at sætte dig et omsætningsmål.

Step by step

  1. Find din omsætning for ugen inkl. moms i kassesystemet, og del med 1,25.
  2. Regn fradraget ud: 1½ gange provisionsminimallønnen gange dine timer.
  3. Provisionen er satsen (mindst 15 %) af det, omsætningen er over fradraget.
  4. Læg minimallønnen for dine timer til provisionen.
  5. Er resultatet under garantilønnen gange timerne, får du garantilønnen.

Typical errors

  • At regne provision af omsætningen inkl. moms. Overenskomsten trækker momsen fra først.
  • At regne provision af hele omsætningen. Den gælder kun det, der er over fradraget på 1½ gange minimallønnen pr. time.
  • At bruge gamle satser. Overenskomsten fornyes, så tjek minimalløn og garantiløn hos dofk eller forbundet.

It means: Du får 4,861 kr for ugen, heraf 1,574 kr i provision, svarende til 194.44 DKK/h. Deltidsansatte har en lidt højere garantiløn i overenskomsten.

Rule of thumb

Med 2023-satserne skal du omsætte for ca. 440 kr inkl. moms pr. arbejdet time, før provisionen slår garantilønnen.

How to check the answer

Provisionslønnen minus provisionen skal være minimallønnen gange timerne. Lønnen kan aldrig blive lavere end garantilønnen gange timerne.
