Checklist: Doping and dietary supplement inquiries
How to answer and act professionally correctly
Use this checklist when a member asks you about dietary supplements, performance-enhancing substances, or if you suspect doping in the centre.
§When a member asks about dietary supplements
- 01Have I kept the answer factual and avoided recommending specific products?
- 02Have I drawn attention to the fact that dietary supplements may contain undeclared substances on the doping list?
- 03Have I mentioned third-party tested products as a way to reduce risk if the member chooses to use supplements?
- 04Have I referred further on questions that require a dietitian or doctor?
§For suspected doping
- 01Have I noted concrete observations, not just a feeling?
- 02Do I know who in the centre I should inform (manager/responsible)?
- 03Do I know the center's collaboration status with Anti Doping Denmark?
- 04Have I avoided directly confronting or accusing the member myself?
§The centre's visible commitments
- 01Is the centre clearly marked at the entrance with ADD-status as required by law?
- 02Does the staff know the content of the collaboration agreement, if the center has one?
- 03Is there a known procedure for how a doping control would proceed if applicable?
