Control form: Measurement report for fine mechanical part

Document measured values against the drawing's tolerances so the inspection can be traced and refound

Use this schedule to document that a finished part actually meets the dimensions the drawing requires. A completed measurement report is both your own assurance that the work is in order, and the proof a customer or quality manager can demand.

Save the completed report with the order or in the company's quality system. On critical parts — e.g. medical or safety components — a traceable measurement report is often a requirement in itself, regardless of whether the part passed inspection.
