How long is the recording from in to out?
Answer: From cutting list EDL or logging you have an in point and an out point in timecode. The calculator converts both to frames at the nominal picture speed subtracts them and shows duration as frames seconds and minutes seconds and frames. Out point is calculated as in an EDL: it is the first frame after the clip so duration is out minus in.
Frames for en timecode = (timer × 3600 + minutter × 60 + sekunder) × nominel fps + frames

Minutter = varighed ÷ fps ÷ 60 rundet ned; resten deles op i sekunder og frames
At 23.976 and 29.97 non-drop, the timecode counts 24 and 30 frames per second, so use the nominal value

It means: Bidden er 2,262 frames lang, altså 1 min, 30 s og 12 frames.
Et indslag går fra 01:02:10:20 til 01:05:00:05 i et 25 fps-program.
It means: Indslaget varer 169.4 s, svarende til 2 min, 49 s og 10 frames.
Et VFX-shot i en spillefilm går fra 00:00:12:18 til 00:00:15:02 i 24 fps.
It means: Shottet er 56 frames, eller 2.33 s. Det tal skal stå i VFX-listen.
Ved 25 fps er ét sekund 25 frames, og et minut 1500 frames.
Minutter × 60 × fps + sekunder × fps + frames skal give varigheden i frames.
