Checklist: your path from application to apprenticeship
Use it as a plan while you apply and find an apprenticeship
It can seem overwhelming to find your way into a vocational education. This checklist breaks the journey into steps so you know what to do — and when.
§Before you search
- 01Check the entry requirement: average of at least 2.0 in Danish and mathematics.
- 02Find out which vocational school near you offers the trade.
- 03Visit an open house or an info evening if you can.
- 04Talk to a supervisor about basic course 1 or 2 — what suits you?
§The actual application
- 01Create and send your application via Optagelse.dk before the deadline.
- 02Keep an eye on feedback and possible entrance exam or interview.
- 03Collect your papers: grades, possibly CV and contact details.
