Use a moment on safety before you work at or in a machine. It takes a bit of time and can prevent serious injury.
§Before intervention in the machine
- 01Has the machine been brought to a safe condition according to the company's rules?
- 02Can it start unintentionally while I have my hands in it?
- 03Are guards and safety devices in place and intact?
§Heat and chemistry
- 01Do I know which parts are hot (oven, soldering equipment)?
- 02Is there extraction/ventilation where soldering is done?
- 03Am I using the right personal protective equipment with chemicals and heat?
§Components and body
- 01Am I using anti-static equipment with sensitive components?
- 02Is the work position good and do I take breaks during repeated work?
