Documentation: ESD equipment self-inspection
Log for periodic testing of earth connections, mats and wrist straps
An ESD control programme only works if it is tested continuously. Use this template to keep track of when and how the equipment has been checked.
§Daily inspection
- 01Visual inspection of wrist strap and cable for damage or breaks
- 02Test grounding resistance at your work station, if you have equipment for it
- 03Inspection that ESD jacket and possibly footwear are intact
§Periodic control

§In case of deviation
- 01Immediately remove the equipment from use
- 02Report the deviation to the responsible person
- 03Document what was found and when the equipment was replaced
