Work process when error found in production
How the medication works — and what side effects can occur
An error on one part can mean errors on many. Use this procedure when you discover an error.
1. Stop and narrow down
- 01Stop or monitor the line so the error does not spread uncontrollably.
- 02Set the suspected items aside so they don't mix with the good ones.
2. Find the cause
- 01Which type of defect is it (missing/shifted/wrong component, poor solder joint, short circuit)?
- 02In which step did it probably arise?
- 03Is it a single incident or a setup problem?
3. Correct and verify
- 01Correct the cause, not just the symptom.
- 02Check new items before full production resumes.
4. Report and document
- 01Report to responsible party according to company policy.
- 02Note fault, cause, what was done and which items may be affected.
