- 01Current medicine log is printed or available digitally
- 02Observations since last visit are noted (behavior, appetite, defecation, etc.).
- 03Specific questions for the veterinarian are written down in advance
- 04The animal is prepared for examination (possibly fasting, isolation from herd).
§After citizen contact
- 01New or amended treatment plan has been entered in the journal
- 02Changes in feeding, activity or isolation are communicated to all staff on duty
- 03Follow-up inspection or next visit is booked
- 04Any spent/remaining medication is counted and discarded/stored correctly
