Choose the right product for the room, surface and use
The right product choice depends on the room the substrate and how the surface will be used. Go through these questions before you choose.
§Room and use
- 01Are windows, trim and bumpers covered?
- 02Should the surface be able to withstand cleaning and wiping?
- 03Is there a lot of wear or contact, e.g. on trim and doors?
§Gloss value
- 01Matte: hides unevenness good for ceilings and large walls
- 02Silk/semi-gloss: good balance between appearance and cleaning
- 03Blank/semi-gloss: easy to wipe off but reveals unevenness — good for woodwork
§Substrate and system.
- 01Choose product that suits the substrate (wood, metal, mineral)
- 02Use primer and topcoat from the same system where possible
