Minimum price per skate

What must I charge minimum for cleaning?

Answer: As an independent farrier, the price of each shoeing must cover three things: your share of the year's fixed costs (leases, horse, tools, accommodation), the hour to trim it for yourself, and your share of the shoes that failed and had to be discarded.

Formula

Dækningsbidrag pr. skoning = (faste omkostninger + egen løn) ÷ skoninger pr. år

Mindstepris ekskl. moms = dækningsbidrag pr. skoning + variable omkostninger pr. skoning

Inkl. moms = mindstepris × 1,25 (den danske momssats)

Skoninger pr. uge = skoninger pr. år ÷ 46 (52 uger minus ferie, helligdage og sygdom)

  • The minimum price gives zero profit: nothing has been added for unforeseen costs, new investments or bad months. Tax, depreciation and interest should be reviewed with your accountant.

Ny selvstændig

Du har 120.000 kr i faste udgifter, vil have 420.000 kr i løn og regner med 900 skoninger om året. De variable udgifter er 300 kr pr. skoning.

It means: En skoning skal mindst koste 900 kr uden moms, altså 1,125 kr med moms. Skoninger om ugen bliver 19.6 pcs.

Færre skoninger og ny bil

Med ny bil er de faste udgifter 150.000 kr. Du vil have samme løn, men kun 700 skoninger om året, og de variable udgifter er 320 kr.

It means: Mindsteprisen stiger til 1,134 kr uden moms. Heraf skal 814 kr dække faste udgifter og løn.

Rule of thumb

Halveres antallet af skoninger, fordobles den del af prisen, der skal dække løn og faste udgifter.

Sammenlign med dækningsbidrag-beregneren. Dækningsbidraget pr. skoning skal være mindst det tal, mindsteprisen bygger på.
