Checklist: Commissioning and break-in
How the glass is cut and shaped to exact measurements
Commissioning is where the system is first supposed to do what it is built for. Use this checklist so you cover everything before the system is handed over.
§Before first start
- 01Has the assembly been checked against the diagram?
- 02Are cables and clamps re-tensioned and marked?
- 03Are sensors mounted and adjusted correctly?
- 04If the profile is too rough in relation to the coating thickness, the highest peaks risk being only thinly covered, giving early rust points.
§Functional test
- 01Test inputs: does the controller respond to the sensors?
- 02Test outputs: do motors and valves run as expected?
- 03Test the sequence: do things happen in the right order?
- 04Adjust regulations until the system runs stably
§Safety and completion
- 01Test all emergency stops and safety functions
- 02Check that guards are in place
- 03Update diagrams and documentation
- 04Instruct the user on operation and safety
