Use this checklist each time you work with varnish, hardener or solvents. Good habits protect both yourself and your colleagues.
§Before you start
- 01Have you read the safety data sheet for the product?
- 02Are respiratory protection and gloves ready and in good condition?
- 03Is the cabin ventilation on and in order?
§During the work.
- 01Wear respiratory protection during spraying and mixing
- 02Avoid skin contact with lacquer hardener and solvents.
- 03No open flame, smoking or spark-generating tools in the paint area
§After work
- 01Collect lacquer residues, filters and contaminated cloths as hazardous waste
- 02Mark and store waste separately and safely
- 03Clean equipment and wash hands thoroughly
