Make the site visible and safe before you work
§Placement and light
- 01Position your vehicle so it protects you and the customer.
- 02Turn on warning lights.
- 03Assess speed and visibility conditions.
§Marking
- 01Place warning triangle at an appropriate distance before the accident.
- 02Use cones as appropriate.
- 03Mark earlier and more clearly at high speed.
§People first
- 01Get the customer away from the road, preferably behind the guardrail.
- 02Wear visible reflective clothing.
- 03Keep your face towards traffic and have an escape route.
