Checklist: Correct securing of load
So the car doesn't move during transport
§Before securing
- 01Place the car correctly on the load or behind the crane.
- 02Find the safe fastening points on the vehicle and load.
- 03Choose lashing gear that is intact and in order.
§Strapping
- 01Strap in secure points, not in fragile parts.
- 02Use enough lashing to secure the car in all directions.
- 03Clamp the lashing properly.
§Inspection
- 01Check that nothing can move
- 02Check vehicle's approved weight.
- 03Check load securing after the first kilometres.
