Formwork reinforcement and concrete before you pour
§Formwork
- 01Is the mould in the correct dimensions and size?
- 02Is it rigid enough to hold the concrete's pressure?
- 03Is it clean and possibly lubricated so concrete releases?
§Reinforcement
- 01Is the reinforcement laid according to the drawing?
- 02Is the deck clearance (distance to the edge) correct?
- 03Is the reinforcement tied and secured so it does not move?
§Ready for concrete
- 01Is access up and down secured with ladder or ramp?
- 02Is the vibrator ready to remove air pockets?
- 03Is post-treatment under control so the concrete can cure while moist?
