Work process: Laying of covering
From base layer to finished durable surface
§1. Base and bearing layer
- 01Dig out to the right depth.

- 03Establish proper slope so water drains away.
§2. Finishing coat
- 01Lay geotextile/fibre cloth if needed to separate raw soil and bearing layer.
- 02Pull it off at the correct height and angle.
- 03Beware not to step in the finished dressed layer.
§3. Laying the stones
- 01Læg sten/fliser i det valgte mønster med jævne fuger.
- 02Place edgings along the sides.
- 03Check lines, gradient and height continuously.
§4. Grouting and finishing
- 01Sweep joint material down into the joints.
- 02Vibrate the pavement so the stones lock together.
- 03Post-wet and clean the surface.
