§Study guidance for welding (AMU)
AMU welding is practice-oriented further education where you build concrete welding skills step by step and can certify yourself within the methods you work with. Learning happens very much hands-on – but understanding the theory of methods, materials, and safety is the foundation for good work.

Good habits and preparation
Practice under the same conditions as any potential test requires: same method, material and position. Always clean the joint surfaces and adjust the machine carefully. Use your protective equipment consistently, and assess risk before each task. Note the settings that gave good results so you can repeat them.

Professional organisations and industry associations in metal and welding publish material on certification and safety. Your instructor and experienced welders at the workplace are an invaluable source of practical knowledge.
