Education, information and planning on site
§Before the work begins
- 01The required education for the task has been completed
- 02The safety data sheet for the product has been obtained and read
- 03You are instructed in the task and know the hazards
- 04For asbestos: is the material mapped and are any notifications in place
§Planning and a designated expert
- 01Work is planned so skin, inhalation and fiber contact is limited as much as possible
- 02Ventilation, extraction or area marking is in place
- 03The right protective equipment is selected and is available
- 04It is agreed how waste and garbage are handled as hazardous waste
§Responsibility and doubt
- 01It is clear who is responsible for what
- 02In doubt about rules or responsibility stop work and clarify first
- 03You know where to look up the rules (The Labour Authority, industry guidance, the occupational health organization).
