• 01Clarify whether the material contains asbestos — in case of doubt, treat it as asbestos-containing
• 02Make sure that training requirements and any notification are met before work starts
• 03Delineate the work area and keep unauthorized people away
• 04Put on respiratory protection with appropriate filter, disposable suit, and gloves
• 05Keep the material moist to bind the dust and avoid dusty methods
• 06Remove the material as whole as possible rather than breaking or grinding it
• 07Vacuum with suitable filter instead of sweeping or brushing
• 08Package the waste tightly, label it, and dispose of it as hazardous waste
• 09Remove the suit in a controlled manner so fibres are not carried out
