Control form: Pressure testing and documentation of plastic welding
How to manage your own taxes and bookkeeping as a self-employed person
§Master data for the weld
- 01Date, place and identification of the welded joint (e.g. pipe section number)
- 02Material type and dimension (e.g. PE or PP and sheet thickness)
- 03Welding method (hot air, mirror welding, extruder or electrofusion)
- 04Name of the person who performed the welding
§Parameters and course are documented where required
- 01Welding parameters (temperature, pressure, time) recorded according to equipment and material requirements
- 02The surfaces are checked clean dry and correctly prepared (e.g. scraped free of oxide layer for electrofusion)
- 03A test weld has been performed and approved if the task requires it
§Visual control
- 01The weld bead is even and uniform with no signs of underfill, porosity or burning
- 02Any deviations are noted and a decision is made about whether the assembly should be rejected or tested further
§Destructive testing (where relevant)
| Test | Standard | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Tensile testing | DS/EN 12814-2 | (to be filled in) |
| Peel test | DS/EN 12814-4 | (to be filled in) |
§Pressure testing of the pipe system
- 01The pipe section is put under pressure according to the established procedure
- 02The pressure has remained stable throughout the test period without drops indicating a leak
- 03The result (approved/not approved) is recorded together with date and person responsible
§Approval
- 01All fields above are filled in before the assembly is considered complete and approved
- 02Documentation is kept so it can be found if the collection is later to be examined
