What the company needs to keep track of before applying to the Safety Authority
§Quality management system
- 01The system describes how asbestos-containing material is handled safely throughout the task
- 02The system contains a final assessment of whether the individual work is carried out according to the Danish Work Authority's asbestos rules
- 03The system is pre-approved by an independent certification body
- 04The system contains a copy of employees' training certificates for the 4-day vocational training course
§Responsible person
- 01A responsible person has been designated who meets the Safety Authority's requirements for the role
- 02The person is associated with the company at least 30 hours per week within the company's normal working hours
- 03Person's affiliation can be documented to the Security Agency
§Employees
- 01All who must carry out the demolition have completed the 4-day AMU course in working with asbestos-containing materials
- 02The education is completed with a passed test and the certificates are stored and accessible
- 03There is clarity on when new hires trigger the same requirements
§Is the task covered at all?
§After shaving
- 01The conditions are continuously maintained — authorization is only valid as long as the rules are followed
- 02New requirements (e.g. decontamination, continuous humidification, shielding with negative pressure) have been incorporated into daily practice
- 03Oversight is carried out to ensure the quality management system is actually followed in each individual task not just on paper
