De 120 subjects, educations and courses each build on their own professional foundation: the official education ordinances and competence objectives, UddannelsesGuiden (ug.dk) and STIL (Agency for Digital Government and Education), the professions' specialist committees and vocational schools (e.g. AMU centres and Hansenberg), and the public materials of individual producers and suppliers. Study materials, calculators and product range for each education programme are structured and reformatted to web format with source attribution on each page.

Junior-zonen fortæller børn i folkeskolen, hvad et håndværk går ud på. Hvert tal på en portrætside — hvor lang tid uddannelsen tager, og om der er job bagefter — står med sin kilde direkte under sig på siden selv. Her er grundlaget samlet.

• UddannelsesGuiden (ug.dk) — uddannelsernes varighed, hentet enkeltvis pr. uddannelse i august 2026. UddannelsesGuiden drives af Styrelsen for It og Læring under Børne- og Undervisningsministeriet.
• Transporterhvervets Uddannelser (TUR) — varighed og trinopbygning for transportfagene, hvor uddannelsen er delt i trin frem for ét forløb.
• Construction's Educations — stilladsmontør-uddannelsen. Den er en brancheuddannelse aftalt mellem 3F og Dansk Industri, ikke en erhvervsuddannelse, og hører derfor ikke under UddannelsesGuidens EUD-liste.
• Arbejdsmarkedsbalancen (STAR) — jobmulighederne pr. fag. Styrelsen for Arbejdsmarked og Rekruttering opgør halvårligt, om der er mangel på arbejdskraft inden for hver stillingsbetegnelse; portrætsiden viser STAR's egen kategori og hvilken stilling den gælder.

Overenskomsterne — lærlingelønnen pr. fag. Hver sats er læst i overenskomstens egen paragraf, ikke på en lønportal: Isolerings-, Bygge- og Anlægs-, Bygnings-, Murer-, Service- og Anlægsgartner-overenskomsten samt lærlingeoverenskomsten for landtransport (alle 3F og DI), og Elektriker- og VVS-overenskomsten (TEKNIQ). Satserne trådte i kraft 1. marts 2026 og reguleres 1. marts 2027 — hvert løntal på sitet bærer den dato, så en læser kan se hvornår det skal efterprøves.

To ting siges højt om løntallene. Overenskomstens sats er et gulv, ikke en løn: i byggefagene arbejdes der akkord, og en svend tjener mærkbart mere — derfor står der «mindst». Og ét fag kan være dækket af flere overenskomster; tallene er fra de største aftaler, så en lærling i et mindre arbejdsgiverforbund kan have andre satser. Lønnen som nyuddannet er UddannelsesGuidens «typisk løn for nyuddannede»: medianindkomst pr. måned inklusive arbejdsgiverbetalt pension, målt andet år efter fuldførelse.

• Preben Kristensen — teaches at AMU Syd Kolding. Main source for the practical sections on mineral wool, elastomeric foam, metal jacketing, pillow sewing and fire insulation. The compendiums were prepared for Undervisningsministeriet (2011–2025).
• BAI — the continuing-education committee for construction/civil engineering and industry: Technical Insulation — Trade calculation (Ministry of Education, October 2024). The geometry formulas in all templates (bends, reductions, tee pieces, metal jacketing, transitions) are taken from here.
• AMU SYD's teaching playlist on YouTube — video constructions embedded on the template pages. All rights to the videos belong to AMU SYD and their teachers; they are embedded with credit, and each page links to the original on YouTube.
