V1 and V2
V1 means the region knows of activities on the site that may have contaminated the soil. V2 means the region knows of contamination on the site.
The B&W shipyard
At B&W's old shipyard on Refshaleøen, a point returns only V2. But the site 101-00087 is listed as “V1 and V2 mapped”. On the large parcel 416 (484,797 m²) the V1 area covers 16.2% and the V2 areas 81%.

Read the register correctly
A point only tells you about the area the point lies in. Look up the parcel, so you see all areas — and remember that “not mapped” is not the same as clean soil.
Next step: Soil samples and soil relocation
An independent sampler takes the soil samples. You get the soil category and the soil relocation notification.
