Work it out.

Calculators for the forklift trade: find the load's centre of gravity, assess stability as a moment balance and interpolate the residual capacity on the load chart. Enter your own measurements — the result updates live.

Important

The calculators only illustrate the physical principles. The actual permitted load for a given load centre and lift height is ALWAYS read from the individual truck's own load chart (capacity plate).

A

Load & load centre

Find the load's centre of gravity: estimate the load centre from the length, combine several items into a single centre of gravity and see the residual capacity at a larger load centre.

B

Stability

Assess stability as a moment balance about the front axle: does the load moment stay within the permissible moment from the load chart?

C

Load chart

Read off the load chart: interpolate the permitted load between two lift heights you have read off — never beyond the chart's end points.

D

Geometry over loose numbers

Geometrical Product Specifications — the complete system for dimension, form and surface specifications

V

Directory

Guided lifting planning: answer questions about load and truck, and the wizard compiles geometry and standards to the correct reading point on your load diagram.
