Mineral wool — all forms

Pipe sections, lamella mat, wired mat, slabs

**The industry workhorse.** Mineral wool is the most widely used material in technical insulation — from the first chilled-water pipe in an office building to 600 °C steam lines at a power plant. Stone wool and glass wool are two cousins made the same way, just from different raw materials, and they come in four basic forms: pipe sections, lamella mats, wire-mesh mats, and slabs (boards). Learn to choose the right form, the right density, and the right thickness — and you have covered 80 % of all jobs in HVAC and industry.
